Your Journey

17 March 2027 | Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in New Delhi, where you will be welcomed at the airport by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to relax after your international journey or begin discovering India's capital at your own pace. Overnight: Delhi.
18 March | Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Delhi, discovering the contrasting character of Old and New Delhi. Drive through Old Delhi, passing the impressive Red Fort and the lively streets around Chandni Chowk. Continue to Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. In New Delhi, see India Gate, the government district and the Presidential residence. Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the city's most important Sikh temples and a place visited by people of many faiths. Continue to the magnificent Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Delhi's most impressive historic monuments. Return to your hotel. Overnight: Delhi.
19 March | Delhi – Agra
After breakfast, depart Delhi by road for Agra, approximately 210 km away. On arrival, explore Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an outstanding example of Mughal architecture. The massive red sandstone complex was developed under Emperor Akbar and later expanded by successive Mughal rulers. After sightseeing, check into your hotel and enjoy some free time. Overnight: Agra.
20 March | Agra – Taj Mahal – Jaipur
Rise early for a visit to the Taj Mahal, one of India's most recognisable landmarks. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, this extraordinary white-marble monument is celebrated for its symmetry, gardens and intricate pietra dura decoration. After your visit, continue by road to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and the famous Pink City. On arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight: Jaipur.
21 March | Jaipur & Amber Fort
After breakfast, discover the royal heritage of Jaipur. Visit the impressive Amber Fort, dramatically located on a hillside outside the city. The current programme includes an ascent to the fort by elephant, subject to availability, followed by a descent by Jeep. For a European-market website, I recommend describing this transparently as an optional/availability-dependent experience rather than making the elephant ride the main selling point. Continue to Jaipur's historic centre and discover the city's architectural highlights, including the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Later, visit Birla Temple and experience the traditional evening Aarti ceremony. Overnight: Jaipur.
22 March | Holi Festival in Jaipur
Today is the highlight of your journey: Holi, the Festival of Colours. After breakfast, spend the day experiencing Holi celebrations in Jaipur. Join the festivities and discover one of India's most colourful cultural traditions, with music, dancing, coloured powders and a joyful atmosphere bringing people together. Holi marks the arrival of spring and is traditionally associated with renewal, celebration and the breaking down of social barriers. Your local team will help you enjoy the experience while providing guidance on the practical aspects of taking part in the celebrations. Overnight: Jaipur.
23 March | Jaipur – Delhi
After breakfast, depart Jaipur by road for New Delhi, approximately 255 km away. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. This is a good opportunity to relax after the Holi celebrations, do some last-minute shopping or enjoy a final evening in Delhi. Overnight: Delhi.
24 March | Delhi – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Delhi International Airport for your return flight or onward journey. Your 8-day Holi and Golden Triangle experience comes to an end, taking with you memories of India's historic monuments, royal heritage and the unforgettable colours of Holi.
