From Udaipur to Jodhpur, we passed through a small city, or rather a village, but one very famous for its temples, its history, and the beauty of Jain architecture. The most famous temple, Ranakpur, is an architectural gem of Jainism and one of the most impressive temples in all of India. It is the only temple of this beauty and one of the pilgrimage sites for Jains. 

Many tourists, especially foreigners, travel to India to see the Taj Mahal, but we always say that India is not just the Taj Mahal. This temple was built in 1437, before the Taj Mahal, and you can see how they used marble. The figures inside the temple are impressive and unique. It has 29 halls, 80 domes, flower carvings, celestial dancers, mythological scenes, and more. It is a sacred place with great serenity and spirituality. This temple represents the Jain vision of the universe; the deity Adinath symbolizes spiritual awakening, and the temple is designed to invite meditation and contemplation.

En Jodhpur, visitaremos una de las fortalezas más grandes de la zona y el mercado. Las casas azules también forman parte de esta visita a la impresionante ciudad, totalmente diferente a las demás de Rajastán. Aquí veremos monumentos con muy buena historia y cuentos de reyes y reinas. Jodhpur es la única ciudad de Rajastán. Allí tuvo lugar el gran Johar de la India, cuando muchas mujeres se arrojaron juntas a las llamas tras la derrota de sus maridos en la guerra. Eran tan fieles a sus esposos que decidieron poner fin a sus vidas antes que quedarse con los hombres árabes o mogoles. Es una historia que aún hoy se sigue contando de generación en generación en los pueblos de la zona.

Después de Jodhpur, salimos hacia Jaipur, que forma parte del Triángulo Dorado, otro de los lugares imprescindibles de la India. Jaipur es una ciudad muy conocida, con mucha historia, monumentos, colores y la famosa zona rosa, que es muy bonita. Era la única ciudad bien organizada de la India en el siglo XVIII y aún siguen pintando la ciudad de color rosa. Disfrutaremos de nuestra visita en la ciudad, veremos el Palacio de los Vientos y muchas cosas más.

Vamos a visitar Agra, quien no conoce Agra, Es es un sueño de todos venir y visitar el Taj Mahal, que es el monumento del amor. En realidad es una tumba de una mujer pero esta construida por el amor. También tenemos el Fuerte Rojo, que también está conectado con la historia del Taj Mahal y el Fuerte Rojo. Este también es uno de los monumentos magníficos, con bonitas vistas del Taj Mahal, y también tiene una historia triste, ya que el emperador murió mirando al Taj Mahal en este fuerte.
