This 6 – day itinerary is what we call ” Contrast Immersion .” Unlike other rushed trips this one allows you to experience the transition from the altitude of the capital to the warmth of the Punakha Valley . Smart Logistics : The trip design takes advantage of the route to allow for natural acclimatization to the altitude Sleeping in Punakha (1,300m) on the third day allows your body to rest from the thin air of Thimphu before the physical challenge of Tiger’s Nest . Nail -Free Architecture We highlight the visit to Trashichhoedzong and Punakha Dzong. Seeing these structures built using traditional methods (without blueprints or nails ) is to understand the spiritual engineering of Bhutan The Human Factor: Instead of just seeing temples the itinerary includes the markets (Ka Ja Throm ) and the areas where locals go about their daily lives This offers real insight into the concept of “Gross National Happiness.” The Climax : We ‘ve left the Tiger’s Nest for last for reason : it’s the spiritual reward . By then the traveler already understands the symbolism and the history , which makes the
