This program is Nepal’s “Best Seller.” It’s the perfect combination of the historical heritage of the Kathmandu Valley and the natural beauty of the Himalayas in Pokhara. Logistics : This is a land-based itinerary . The journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara (Days 3 and 5) is long (7-8 hours) due to the geography and traffic . Expert tip : If your budget allows , you can substitute a 25 – minute flight to gain some rest time . Contrast : Excellent . You go from the spiritual bustle and dust of Kathmandu to the serenity of the fresh air and lakes in Pokhara. Pace : Day 4 is intense but very rewarding . Watching the sunrise and then doing the city tour requires energy , but Pokhara is much more relaxed for walking than the capital.
Day 01. Arrival in Kathmandu (KTM)
Welcome: You will be met at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) by our representative after completing your visa formalities.
Transfer: Private transfer to your hotel and welcome drink.
Free afternoon: Time to relax or explore the vibrant Thamel district , its shops, and local bars. Overnight: Kathmandu.
Day 02. Kathmandu and Patan: Treasures of Humanity
Private cultural tour of the most important spiritual and artistic sites:
Swayambhunath: The famous “Monkey Stupa.” 2,000 years old, it offers a panoramic view of the valley and a message of universal unity.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: The historic heart of the capital. Visit Kasthamandap , the House of the Living Goddess ( Kumari Ghar ), and the Shiva Temple.
Patan (Lalitpur): Known as the “City of Beauty.” Highlights include Durbar Square, Mul Chowk Courtyard , and the Patan Museum, a prime example of Newar art.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03. Kathmandu-Pokhara: To the Lake City

Sarangkot (Sunrise): Early departure for Sarangkot Hill to watch the sunrise over Annapurna , Dhaulagiri , and Machhapuchhare (Fishtail).
City Tour:
Devi Waterfall: Where the river disappears underground.
Mahendra Caves: Fascinating natural formations.
Temples: Visit to Bindabasini and the floating temple of Barahi.
Boat Trip: 1-hour boat ride on tranquil Phewa Lake.
Overnight: Pokhara.
Day 05. Pokhara-Kathmandu: The Return
Return journey: After breakfast, we return by road to Kathmandu, enjoying the mountain scenery one last time.
Free afternoon: Last chance to shop for handicrafts, pashminas, or mandalas in the capital.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 06. Kathmandu-Departure
Departure: Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer: At the indicated time, private transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
